Sharon L. McGowan, age 74, of Celina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on August 6, 1951, in St. Marys, Ohio, to the late Lewis and Ruth (Spicer) Gray. On January 1, 1982, she married the love of her life, Rick L. McGowan, and together they shared 43 wonderful years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Constance “Connie” S. Gray.
A 1969 graduate of Celina Senior High School, Sharon dedicated over 30 years of service to Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina, where she was known for her hard work and friendly spirit.
Sharon had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. She loved tending to her garden, caring for her flowers, and spending time outdoors. She took pride in her home and enjoyed working on projects around the house. More than anything, Sharon cherished the life she and Rick built together — a life filled with love, laughter, and companionship.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the McGowan family.
