Sharon Marie (Moroni-Malone) Miron, 66, of Norway passed away at home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
She was born in Iron Mountain on Feb. 8, 1959, the daughter of the late Frank and Shirley (Phillips) Moroni. Sharon graduated from Florence High School in 1977. She completed her certification in floral design from Bay College prior to taking a position with Fredrick's Floral. Sharon also worked for Shopko for 28 years as the store's key receiver. On September 10, 2016, she was married to Arnold A. Miron at home in her beautiful garden. Sharon had a very creative and artistic eye and loved spending time tending her flower garden, making flower arrangements, doing diamond art, ceramics and painting. Pampering her cats and feeding and watching her birds also brought her great joy. At times, Sharon's feisty Italian side would show through while she was cruising in her 1984 Pontiac Firebird, which she loved for 25 years. She also loved the "Tour of Italy" at her favorite restaurant, Olive Garden. More than anything she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and niece.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her husband, Arnold Miron; 2 children, William "Bill" Malone and Jamie Malone; 3 grandchildren, Chantel, Brianna, and William "Billy"; 2 siblings, Terry (Paula) Moroni and Susan Moroni; niece, Jennifer (Jason) Fredy; great-nephew, Brandon Clement; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by a sister, Sally (Moroni) Benedict.
The graveside service will be at Homestead-Aurora Cemetery on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Sharon's family would like to thank all of the first responders for their care and compassion.
