Mrs. Sharon Kay Moore, age 80 years, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri.

Sharon Moore was born on Friday, November 17, 1944, in Springfield, Missouri. A cherished aunt, great-aunt, friend and neighbor. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, keen intellect, funny stories and unwavering love for her family.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Lucille.

She is survived by her sister, Janie; niece, Mindy Forner and husband, Kevin; great-nephew, Chandler Bryant and wife, Megan and many friends.

Sharon dedicated forty-nine years of her life to her career at Mercy (St. John's) Hospital as a Coding Specialist in medical records. Her colleagues admired her for her work ethic and friendships. Sharon earned her degree late in life and encouraged others by reminding them "It's never too late."

Sharon's warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed, but, her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 4, 2025 at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. Friends and family are invited to share memories and honor a life well lived.
