Sharon Ann Perry, 79, of Scipio, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Bishop Chapel of Memories in McAlester, Oklahoma, with Pastor Fred Morrison officiating. Interment will follow at Tannehill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Lawson, Timmy Lawson, Jacob Petty, John Tyler Perry, Tommy Petty, Kristopher Perry, Aaron Petty, Luke Reed, David Perry, Wyle Box.

Honorary pallbearers will be the great-grandsons.

Sharon was born on September 21, 1946, in Madera, California, to Robert Ivan and Eloise (Clifton) Kelley. During her youth, she moved from Kansas City to Indianola, Oklahoma, where she completed her education, graduating from Indianola High School in 1964. On January 3, 1964, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, William M. Perry, in McAlester, Oklahoma, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned many years.

A hardworking and talented woman, Sharon attended Okmulgee Tech, where she studied upholstery. She dedicated part of her career to working at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. She operated an upholstery business for over a decade, where her craftsmanship and attention to detail were well known.

Sharon found joy in life's simple pleasures-sewing, listening to music, and attending bluegrass festivals. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She was a faithful member of Indianola First Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. Her warm spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Perry of the home; daughters, Susan Lawson and husband, Steve, Sheila Petty and husband, Wesley, Sarah Reed and husband, Larry, and Shari Gray and husband, Johnny; sons, William Michael Perry and wife, Laura, and John Perry and wife, Ammy; grandchildren, Kimberly Hendrix and husband, Michael, John Lawson and wife, Tabitha, Timothy Lawson and wife, Whitney, Kendra Anderson, Kristopher Perry and wife, Molly, Jacob Petty and wife, Brittany, Tommy Petty and wife, Stephanie, Aaron Petty, John Tyler Perry and wife, Meg, Kristen Cook and husband, Noah, David Perry, Emily Reed, Luke Reed, Ruthie Reed, Melanie Box, Bethany Box, and Wyle Box; great-grandchildren, Haily Whitlock, Navien Corlin, Alexander Whitlock, Luke Hendrix, Lane Hendrix, Braxley Lawson, Josiah Lawson, Alice Lawson, Maddix Lucero, Blakley Lawson, Gracyn Lawson, Wrenley Lawson, Iris Perry, Violet Perry, Lane Petty, August Perry, Maia Cook, Eden Cook, and Jodie Cook; sisters, Connie Webb and husband, Pat, and Janet Dawes and husband, Donnie; brothers-in-law, Eugene Perry and wife, Linda, Jerry Perry and wife, Barbara; sisters-in-law, Mary Hyde and husband, Stanley, Diane Jernigen and husband, Ralph; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Bob) Ivan and Eloise (Clifton) Kelley; sisters, Donna Kindred, and Janice Medley; sisters-in-law, Ruth Perry, Donna Perry; brothers-in-law, Louis (Butch) Perry; mother and father-in-law, Myrtle and Edward (Big) Perry; a niece and nephew, Karen Webb and Christopher Webb.
