Sharon Roberts Obituary
Sharon Leigh Roberts, age 76, of Hazlehurst passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Memorial Health in Savannah.
Ms. Roberts was born June 19, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late George Bishop and the late Alma Jean Mathis Bishop. She was a retired C.N.A. and was a faithful member of Hazlehurst Church of Christ. She was known to many as the “card lady” as she was devoted to her card ministry in which she wrote handwritten notes of encouragement and scripture to numerous family members, friends, and strangers alike.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Rosenburg of Neveda, Tonya MacCalla of Tennessee, and Tara Wilson of North Dakota; sisters, Betty Richard of Texas and Carol Hodges of Hoboken, Georgia; nine grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Hazlehurst Church of Christ (429 Douglas Hwy. Hazlehurst, GA 31539) with Bro. Bobby Lairsey officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
