In Loving Memory of Sharon Ann Rollins

1944 - 2025

Sharon passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from complications of primary progressive aphasia. She was 81 years old.
Sharon was born on February 6, 1944, in Florien Louisiana, to Charlie Bolton and Willie Mae Jackson. Her father served in the Navy and Air Force during World War II, and retired as Chief Warrant Officer.
Sharon spent much of her childhood moving across the country and even abroad to the Philippines before her family eventually settled in Azle, where she completed her schooling.
Sharon married the love of her life, James Rollins, and together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her husband James; her three daughters Terrie Admire and husband Phillip, Tammie Jetton and husband Brett and Tonie Steel and husband James
six grandchildren; Corey Morrison and wife Lacey, Crystal Hancock and husband Ryan, Jerad Steel and wife Amanda, Casey Admire, Brooke Admire and husband Zack and Aaron Steel.
fourteen great-grandchildren; Hannah Morrison, Harleigh Moore and husband Josh, Beau Morrison and wife Lexi, Lillee Morrison, Sarah Hancock, Summer Rose Wilson, Bentlee Morrison and Paislee Morrison, Gavin Laymance Admire, Marlie Moorman, Radlee Admire, Ely McAlexander and wife Tori, Eva Steel and Liam Steel and one great-great-grandchild Kimber Love McAlexander. And a whole slew of nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her siblings Marlene Pitt, Charles Jackson and wife Connie, Sue Potter, and sister-in-law Andra Rollins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Bolton Jackson and Willie Mae Jackson and sister Charlene Wilbanks and Husband Bob, Brothers in law Bobby Potter and Brother in law Tommy Rollins, Mother and Father in Law James Lawrence Rollins, Sr and Claire Genevieve Rollins and great grandchild John Steel.
Sharon's greatest passion in life was her family. She poured her heart into loving her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Her second passion was making people feel beautiful. She began her career as a hairstylist in 1968 and continued faithfully until her illness, owning and operating three beauty shops over the years. Sharon knew everybody in town, and everyone who sat in her chair left not only beautiful but also feeling loved and cared for.
She was a gifted artist with a natural eye for decorating. She loved to travel, especially to Louisiana to visit family. Sharon also had a beautiful singing voice and used her talents to serve faithfully in her church. She sang in the choir, led ministries, and was known for preparing meals for Wednesday night services alongside her husband James. Her servant's heart touched countless lives.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, her church community, and all who were blessed to know her.
Services will be held at Eagle Mountain Baptist Church on Saturday, the 22nd. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by the Celebration of Life at 3:30 p.m.
