Sharon Andrews Rowley passed away on April 7, 2025 in Shoreline, Washington, at the age of 70 years old after an 18-year battle with Parkinson's Disease. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 48 years, Craig Rowley; her super-niece, Ginger Andrews; her demanding cat, Winston; and numerous siblings, nephews, and nieces across the country.

Sharon was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as a fifth-generation native Ann Arborite. She graduated from Ann Arbor Huron High School, where she was a famous master debater, the University of Michigan with a degree in Physics, and the University of Chicago with a Master's of Business Administration. She was a fierce fan of the Michigan Wolverines.

Sharon and Craig moved to Seattle in 1982 to 'climb mountains', graduating from The Mountaineers Club Intermediate Climbing Course. She traveled the world with multiple trips to Europe, Asia, South America, and across the United States.

Her professional career encompassed banking and investment management.

Sharon's true passions were fabric art and volunteer service. She served on the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Seattle King Snohomish for 17 years, including a term as Board President. She accessed her spirituality through her art, inspired by her travels to the sacred temples, canyons, and mountain tops of the world. She created art to send wishes for peace and happiness into the universe by exploring the form of Tibetan prayer flags and their messages of loving kindness (may you be happy, live in peace, in health and with ease). Her work has appeared in numerous shows and exhibits and can be seen at www.rowleyart.com.

To honor Sharon's memory, please endeavor to be kind to everyone and consider a donation in her memory to either the YWCA (www.ywcaworks.org), Purrfect Pals (www.purrfectpals.org) or to the Northwest Chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Association (https://www.apdaparkinson.org/community/northwest/).

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date.

If you want her again, look under your boot-soles. Missing her one place seach another, she stops somewhere waiting for you.
