Sharon Schultz Obituary
The daughter of Delton and Carol (Vicknair) deBautte, Sharon was born July 25, 1942 in Reserve, Louisiana where she graduated high school. Sharon's focus was that of wife and mother. She embraced the opportunity in raising her 4 children.
At the age of 45 and once her sons were raised, Sharon's determination and drive led her to pursue a career outside of the home. She worked as an office manager for a family plumbing company.
Sharon's creativity was expressed through photography and sewing. She would snap a picture of just about anything but her interest was often in capturing fleeting moments in nature; a bird in flight, blooming flowers or powerful waterfalls. She also sewed and designed custom outfits. She specifically designed "pump wear", outfits for those living with diabetes. At one time she owned 6 sewing machines!
She was very patriotic, and loved the 4th of July. Sharon was gifted with an amazing sense of humor. Once she was focused on her goals, there was little that could distract her from success.
She is survived by her sons Edward (Carol) Schultz, Steve Schultz (Dennis Frisby), Richard (Dawn) Schultz, and James Schultz; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren; siblings Charlotte (Mario) Feola; as well as a very large deBautte and Vicnair family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Delton and Carol deBautte; grandsons Jason Honeycutt and Eric Schultz; her friend, Elizabeth Allard; sister Tanya Roma; son-in-law Ed Eccles; and father of her children Lynn Schultz.
Services celebrating Sharon Ann Schultz will be held Saturday December 28, 2024 at 1 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where her family will receive friends the hour prior, from 12 pm - 1 pm. Pastor Rocky Tracy will officiate and graveside services will follow in Lexington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richland County Humane Society or the BNOC (Bellville Nutrition and Outreach Center).
