Sharon L. Shreve “loving mother, grandmother, and Gigi”
ELDRED, PA---Sharon L. Shreve, 84, a longtime resident of Eldred, passed away with her loving family by her side on Sunday, October 19, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
Born on Thursday, September 18, 1941 in Wellsville, NY, she was a daughter of Dan and Clara Sutton Kuhn.
Sharon was a graduate of Northern Potter High School in Ulysses, PA.
She enjoyed crocheting, reading, watching television and playing solitaire. Sharon loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving are a son, Chuck (Yvonne) Shreve of Eldred; two daughters, Carolyn (Bob) Sawvelle of Tuscon, Arizona and Sharon (John Cole) Nofsker of Eldred; four grandchildren, Hannah (Tyler) Goswick, Alton Nofsker III, Katelynn Baker, and Alison Nofsker; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her stepfather, Harry Shutt; her longtime companion, Edgar Marvin; three brothers, Earl Kuhn, Alan Kuhn, and Aaron Kuhn; and three sisters, Hazel Cox Gray, Marian Kramer, and infant Ruth Kuhn.
Currently there are no services planned. Burial will be in Ceres Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, c/o Sharon Nofsker, 131 Windfall Road, Eldred, PA 16731.
Sharon’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
