Together Again
Sharon Lynn Sisson (Sams), age 82, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep, on March 15, 2023. She was born on May 3, 1940 in Coolville, Ohio to the late Elmer and Virginia Sams. She was at her home where she was loved and cared for since the passing of her husband, John in May of 2021. Married for 62 years they had 4 children, many grandkids, and great grandkids. Surrounded by children their entire lives, they enjoyed kids immensely. Their home was always open to family and friends in need. The last years of her life were hampered by blindness, deafness and COPD, as well as other ailments. But in typical fashion, she struggled through with her wit and wisdom and sense of humor. Always on the move, never knowing a minute of rest, she was always helping around the house, cooking and cleaning. No mother kept a cleaner house or was a better cook. With hearts of gold mixed with iron, their stories could fill a Sunday paper.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as these charities meant a lot to Sharon.
We love you mom and dad and will miss you everyday.
