Sharon Straley Obituary
Sharon's passion for artistry shone brightly through her talent for crafting exquisite floral arrangements. Her floral creations were not just beautiful works of art, but a reflection of her love for the natural world and the joy she found in bringing beauty to others. Her hands created bouquets that spoke volumes, capturing the essence of every occasion.
In her professional life, Sharon served as a dedicated UTA Paratransit bus driver, ensuring the safe and timely journeys of countless passengers. Her commitment to her work was a testament to her responsible and caring nature, as she made the daily commute a little brighter for those she served.
Family was at the core of Sharon's life. She is survived by her loving father Ross, son Bob (Kristina) and daughter Jennifer, her brother Bill, sister Lynn (Dennis), and grandchildren Alex and Andrew. She is preceded in death by her mother Joyce Bankhead.
A celebration of life service will be held from 2:00 - 4:00pm on Thursday, 10/5/2023 at The Chateau at The Rose Shop, 1910 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South, Sandy, UT. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Utah Friends of Basset Hounds in Sharon's honor.
