Sharon Swanson, age 78, of Cottage Grove passed away on September 30th, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Sharon was a dedicated nurse for many years through Bethesda Rehab Hospital in Saint Paul. Among her favorite things to do was quilting, sewing and also spending her winters together with her husband, Bruce, in Texas.
Sharon is preceded in death by parents, George and Mavis Goslinga; son, Michael; and mother and father-in-law, Nick and Dorris Swanson.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bruce Swanson; son, Scott (Stephanie) Swanson; daughter, Kim Hurlbert; grandson, Clayton; sisters, Dianne Mouw and Brenda (Steve) Myers; brother, Terry (Bonnie) Goslinga and many other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be 11 am Monday, October 23, 2023 at Saint Luke Lutheran Church: 7000 Hinton Ave South, Cottage Grove, MN 55016 with visitation one hour prior. Interment immediately following at the Cottage Grove Cemetery.
