Sharon L. Sword

Sharon L. Sword, 74, of Cabot, AR, formerly of Hot Springs, AR, went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2022. She was born December 14, 1947 in Hot Springs to the late Willard and Mildred (Burgess) Mullings. Sharon graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in 1965 and married Sherman "Butch" Sword. They shared 54 happy years together before he passed away in 2020. She and Butch shared a love of motorcycling and toured the US with friends. Sharon was known for being an avid reader and master of crossword puzzles. She was a dental assistant in her early career days, and later in life she worked as an accountant for their family lawn care business. One of Sharon's favorite things to do was spoiling her girls and visiting with family.
Loving survivors include her daughter, Kara Parks, granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Haleigh and Isaac Trotter, great-grandchildren, Chloe, David, and Beair Trotter, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Beverly Mullings, sister, Brenda Parker, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family wants to thank the staff at UAMS E4 ICU, Arkansas Hospice, and Superior Senior Services (Janet) for the loving care and support they provided Sharon in her final days.
An intimate family service will be held at a later date.
