Sharon was born on November 16, 1956, in Lancaster, California, to Steven Ehnes and Shirley (Steely) Ehnes. She graduated from Golden City High School with the Class of 1975 and later from Missouri Southern State University in 2001. Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert Wingert; her son, Robbie Wingert and wife Melissa of Carthage, Missouri; her daughter, Brandijayne Wingert of Golden City, Missouri; Caroline Bjalstam of Spain, their beloved foreign exchange student who became like another daughter; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Zoe, Isaac, Desiree, Joey, Oliver, and Natalie; and one great-grandchild, Bryson. She is also survived by two brothers, Steven Ehnes and wife Kathy, and Stanley Ehnes, all of Lebanon, Missouri; one sister, Susan Wilske of Olathe, Kansas; and her aunt and uncle who raised her as their own, Jane Lacy-Lathrop and G.J. Lacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Scott Ehnes.
