Sharon Diane Young Davis

Rocky Mount – Sharon Diane Young Davis, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Born in Kanawha County, WV on March 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Edward Young and Dorothy Anna King Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Frederick Davis; her grandsons, Sgt. Derek Davis and Kyle Davis; her infant sister, Yvone Lynn Young; her sister, Linda Sue Young Martin; and her brother, Eddie Wayne Young.
A woman of great faith, Sharon was a long-time member of Arlington Baptist Church. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many, Sharon will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Sharon is survived by her son, Paul Edward Davis and wife, Lora, of Aberdeen; her daughter, Sherry Davis Helton and husband, Steven, of Raleigh; her granddaughter, Madison Helton; her brother, Timothy Allen Young; her sister, Ruth Ann Young Harrison; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dearest friends.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
