Shawn Cassady, 74, valued family, friends, and remaining connected to the community where he was raised. Shawn was born on March 13, 1951, living most of his life in Salinas, CA, where he lived with his wife, Pam Zoccoli-Cassady, raised their two children, Matthew Cassady (Ariel Cassady) and Kelly Cassady, and recently welcomed his granddaughter, Annie Cassady.
He worked many years in the field of agriculture and remained active in the community by volunteering his time to different organizations. With those around him, he demonstrated compassion and strength. When others needed support, he remained dependable and steadfast. This dedication continued until his death on April 3, 2025.
To honor Shawn, a gathering will be held in his memory Celebration of life on Thursday April 17, 2025 at Spreckels Veterans Memorial Building, 90 Fifth Street, Spreckels, Ca. 93962 from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m..
