Shawn Gregory Edwards

Shawn Gregory Edwards, age 36, of Plano, Texas, passed away on September 15, 2025, in Collin County. Born on August 23, 1989, in Dallas County, Shawn grew up in Rockwall, Texas, where he attended Dobbs Elementary, Williams Middle School, and graduated from Rockwall High School with the Class of 2007.

Shawn built a career as an IT Specialist, where his dedication and problem-solving skills left a lasting impact on his colleagues and clients. Beyond his work, Shawn was deeply devoted to his family. On July 22, 2017, he married the love of his life, Jessica Timms. Together, they raised their cherished child, Soph (CJ) Timms, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Jessica Timms; child, Soph (CJ) Timms; father, Vincent Gregory Edwards; mother, Rita Edwards; sister, Karen Edwards-Key, and her husband, Dallas Key; and his beloved nieces, Lily Key and Summer Key.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Houck (2014); his grandfather, Don Browning (1991); and his grandmother, Marjorie Edwards (1994).

Shawn will be remembered for the loyalty and care he showed for his friends and family. He cherished time spent with loved ones, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

6701 Coit Road, Plano, TX.
