Shawn Jones, 51, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at home. Shawn was born August 30, 1972 in Philadelphia, PA. She had 2 children, a daughter Sabrina Jones and a son Sean Jones. Two sisters Yetta and Kemayatta Jones. Four nephews Nicholas, Richard, Rasheed, and Nasir. Seven nieces Jade, Taylor, Kimora, Kayla, Wadiyah, Sakeenah and Sanaa. Eight great nephews and many cousins.
In June of 1990 she graduated from Easton Area Hight School with dreams of going in the child care field and one day hoping to own her very own center. Shawn always wanted to work with children and to help them. This was her dream, shine she was a little girl growing up in foster care. She knew how it felt when a child feels lost, scared and unwanted. She wanted to give kids a place to feel safe, a place where they felt protected. Unfortunately, life happens and she was u unable to fulfill her dreams. Instead, God lead her down a different path. A path where she had the chance to meet so many different people from all walks of life. A path where she had 2 wonderful children who loved her so much. Shawn will be deeply missed, especially by her children who will never forget her and always keep her memory alive.
