Conneaut- Shawn Gregory Summers, Sr., 35, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 29, 2023.
He was born on June 1, 1987 the son of Gregory A. Summers, Sr. and Shawna McKendrick. Shawn attended Conneaut High School. He was the owner of Summers Home Improvement's and was licensed to do electrical and HVAC.
Shawn enjoyed cars, guitars and going with his father to check out and find the next project car or truck they would work on. He will forever be remembered for his beautiful blue eyes, infectious smile and laugh. Shawn loved to play his guitar and sing for family and friends and enjoyed family dinners together. He was always joking and knew how to make you smile.
He will be dearly missed by his mother, Shawna McKendrick; father and stepmother, Gregory and Virginia Summers; his children, Shawn Summers, Jr., Krista, Hunter, Mahayla, Neveah and Abbigail Summers; step-children, Totyiona Tackett, Samantha, Charlie, Christopher and Junior Smith; siblings, Heather (Brian) Williams, Jeremy Summers, Gregory A. Summers, Jr., Cheyenne Summers; step-siblings, Courtney Eichele, Aaron and Brandy Martell ; grandfather, Dale McKendrick; and many more relatives and friends who will cherish his memories.
Shawn was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pearl Hale; grandparents, Shirley and Blake Williams; and a grandfather, David Summers.
Calling hours will be held, Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 11:00-1:00PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut. No formal services will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
