Shawn was born on June 3, 1971 in Lima, OH, to his parents, Norman Eugene and F. Carolyn (McDaniel) Taylor, who both preceded him in death.
Shawn enjoyed working on cars. He appreciated the simple things in life. You could often find him outdoors, enjoying nature.
He is survived by his loving sister, Melissa (James) Jordan of Lakeview, Ohio, his nieces and nephews: Shawna (Michael) Bridge, Taylor (Emily) Zimmerman, Jordan Sherrick, Kristin Zimmerman, and Justin Zimmerman, and his 11 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shawn's honor may be made to: Cancer Research Institute: 29 Broadway, Floor 4, New York, NY 10006-3111.
