Bennington - Shawna Bradlee Beechler, 32 of Bennington passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday (May 27, 2025) at home.

Shawna B. was born December 8, 1992 in Rochester, a daughter of Thomas and Nanette (Burns) Beechler of Bennington.

Shawna loved animals and especially enjoyed watching her fish. She was very independent and liked to do her own thing. She enjoyed anything musical, water, and had a fondness for babies.

Surviving along with her parents, is her brother, Charles (Sarah Carpenter) Beechler of Bennington; aunts and uncles, Linda Burns of Akron, Robert Burns, Jr. of Darien, Dawn (David) Berg of Bennington, Bradlee (Laurie) Burns of Warsaw, Michael (Angela) Burns of North Carolina, Victoria Pfeffer of Batavia, Alton (Dace) Burns, Jr. of Georgia, and Scott (Kellie) Beechler of Batavia. Many cousins also survive.

Shawna is reunited in death with her maternal grandparents, Robert Sr. and Nancy Burns; paternal grandparents, Alton Sr. and Martha Beechler; aunts and uncles, Timothy Burns, Deborah Beechler, Kenneth Beechler, and Tammy Beechler.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Shawna will be laid to rest with her maternal grandparents in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica. Memorial contributions are suggested in Shawna's name to the Bennington Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Arrangements were entrusted to the Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica.
