Donald K McClellan

Donald K McClellan, 60, of Attica, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at his home in Attica.
Don, lovingly referred to as Donny, was born May 20, 1965, in Batavia, son of Robert and Karen (Roth) McClellan.

Don graduated from Alexander High School in 1983 and married the love of his life, Mary Weaver, on May 7, 1988 in Elma. Together they raised two wonderful children. Don worked for the majority of his career at Attica Correctional Facility, until his retirement as Sergeant in 2013. He was an avid golfer who played at many of the courses in Western New York, and more than a few in Florida. Don was a huge Green Bay Packers and Yankees fan, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his wife, parents, children, and grandchildren. Don shared great times with friends, many of whom he gave nicknames.

Surviving is his loving wife of 37 years, Mary McClellan of Attica; children, Emily (Cory) Weber of Varysburg and Matthew (Ashley) McClellan of Spencerport; grandchildren, Nora McClellan, Judah Weber, and Cole McClellan; parents, Robert and Karen McClellan of Attica; siblings, Robert (Tammy) McClellan of Ohio and Brian (Carol) McClellan of Olean; brother in law, Lawrence (Terese) Weaver of Corfu; sister in law, Susan (Karl) Meyers of Alden; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Don is reunited in death with his mother in law, Dolores Weaver and father in law, Lawrence Weaver.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Attica, on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Don's funeral services will immediately follow at Marley Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alexander Varsity Club: Alexander Central School District 3314 Buffalo Street Alexander, NY 14005 (note that it is for the Varsity Club) or Wyoming County Emergency Medical Services Ambulance.
