Funeral service for Shelia Anne Dobbs, 68, will be Friday, August 29, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Dobbs died on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Friday, December 21, 1956, in Russell County to William Leo Ford and Wanda Alice Ford. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother, enjoyed loving and caring for people and helping anyone she could. She tried to take care of everyone. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed tending her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband- Dan Dobbs, her parents, and a brother Johnathan Ford.

Survivors include her Son - Eric Shaffer, and three Grandchildren - Bentley Shaffer, Remmi Shaffer and Myla Shaffer.
