Sheila Lynn Moore

Born: July 14, 1960 | Died: September 25, 2025

Sheila Lynn Moore passed away on September 25, 2025, after three years of Stage 4 lung cancer. She was always strong and had a good spirit till the end. Sheila loved reading and studying her Bible and taking notes. She loved her church family at Friendship Baptist Church. Sheila also loved spending time with her sisters, and adored her two grandchildren, Luca and Marli Hemen.

Born in Franklinton, Louisianna, on July 14, 1960, Sheila is preceded in death by her mother Grace Welch and father Ray A. Moore. She is survived by her three sons, Jason Jarrell, Robert Hemen II, and Cory (Mandi) Hemen; and grandchildren Luca Hemen and Marli Hemen. Sheila is also survived by her twin sister Sherri Moore; two other sisters, who are each other's twin, Brenda (Sam) Day and Linda (Jim) Pierce; brother Billy Moore; as well several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Sheila will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11am, Friendship Baptist Church, 3310 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, TN 37803. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sheila's memory to Friendship Baptist Church.
