Sheila Mae Pangburn, born on June 26, 1934, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family, on April 21, 2025, in Redwood City, California, at the age of 90.
Sheila was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and at the age of 12 moved to Redwood City, California with her parents. As a young woman working at Hewlett Packard, she met Bob, her husband-to-be, at the local bowling alley. They were happily married for 41 years and raised their two daughters in Redwood City.
Sheila was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a woman of faith and enjoyed many years worshipping at her beloved church, participating in a weekly bible study and attending special events with friends and family. She loved camping at Pinecrest Lake, spending time in her backyard garden, and listening to music. She was a huge SF 49ers and SJ Sharks fan. She also loved animals, especially hummingbirds!
Sheila leaves behind a rich legacy of love and memories. She is survived by her devoted daughters Linda (Scott) Morton, and Brenda (Dan) Pohl; her step-children Robert Pangburn, Jr. and Becky Logan; grandchildren August Pohl, Stella Pohl, Wes Pejooh, and Kevin Morton, and great-granddaughter, Indy Morton.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Pangburn Sr., her parents, Ed and Gwen Carmichael, and her grandson C.R. Snead.
Sheila's gentle spirit, as well as her cheeky sense of humor, will be remembered fondly by all her family and friends.
