Sheila Ann Warner, a beloved soul whose warmth and love radiated through every life she touched, peacefully departed this world on June 6, 2025, in her home in Twin Oaks, Missouri, surrounded by the loving embrace of her family. Born on June 27, 1955, in East Saint Louis, Illinois, Sheila lived a life rich in memories, laughter, and profound connections.

Sheila's career spanned over four decades, beginning as an accountant on the marketing team at Consolidated Grain and Barge from 1977 until 1993. She further honed her expertise at the International Marketing Group, where she continued to inspire her colleagues until her retirement in 2022. Through her professional journey, she exemplified dedication and intelligence, earning the admiration of all who worked beside her.

Education was a foundational part of Sheila’s life. She graduated early from Cahokia High School in 1972, demonstrating the academic brilliance that would accompany her on many adventures in life. Yet, it was not just in the classroom where she excelled; Sheila brought that same spirit of enthusiasm and a love for fun into every aspect of her life.

Above all her accomplishments, her greatest pride lay in her family. Sheila cherished her role as a loving wife to her beloved husband, Paul Warner, and a devoted mother to her daughter, Rhonda Strobel. The bond they shared was one of resilience and joy, filled with countless memories. Among those treasured moments were trips that highlighted their adventurous spirits, such as the unforgettable getaway to Hilton Head, South Carolina, which remains a vivid highlight they often reminisced about. Rhonda, drawing from her mother's nurturing nature, also recalls the many times she convinced Sheila to step beyond her comfort zone, including a transformational trip to Paris, which marked a significant journey in their lives together.

Sheila’s creativity shone brightly in her hobbies. With an innate flair for sewing and quilting, she crafted matching outfits for Rhonda and her beloved cabbage patch dolls, leaving behind a legacy of handmade love. She thrived on hanging out with friends, exploring the world with her family, and embracing every moment with joyous enthusiasm. Her presence was forever welcoming, exuding an atmosphere where everyone felt at home.

Sheila's departure leaves a tender ache among her surviving family members: her cherished husband, Paul Warner; her daughter, Rhonda Strobel; her stepchildren, Peter (Amy) Warner, Emily Warner, and Thompson Warner; and her brothers, Doyne Harris and Lindell (Cindy) Harris. Each of them carries the indelible mark of her love and the values she instilled. They will remember her as the world’s best mom, a smart and loving partner, and a friend who brought light into every gathering.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Allie and Zelba Harris; her infant son, Ronnie Allen Strobel; and her sister, Louetta Charlton. Their spirits now unite as Sheila embarks on a new journey, leaving a legacy built on love, joy, and unwavering support for those she leaves behind.

As we reflect on Sheila Ann Warner’s life, we celebrate a woman who embraced every moment with an open heart and a spirit of adventure. Her memory will forever linger in our hearts, inspiring us to approach life with the same carefree joy she exemplified and the deep love she so generously shared.
