Sheila Marie White, nee McClure, 63, of Millstadt, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born June 4, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Sheila was a chef at Affton High School for many years. She spent several years as the Treasurer and a coach at the Dupo Quarterback Club. Sheila's life was being there supporting the kids any way that she could, including coaching several teams, for many years. It broke her heart when she had to give it all up, due to her failing health. She was a recipient of a liver transplant in February of 2016 due to hereditary genes. She was granted an additional nine years of life by the grace of God and the advancements of science. The last few years brought on health issues that restricted her activities. However, she was able to accomplish her dream of going to Florida and seeing the Gulf of America and the dolphins

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Gene and Effie Mae, nee Heatley, McClure; and two brothers, William and Richard "Ricky" McClure.

Surviving are her husband, Billy L. White; a son, Marc S. White of Millstadt, IL; an "extra daughter" Amy Oldham; and two sisters, Patricia Funken of Columbia, IL and Betty Bryant of Valmeyer, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Fiends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the funeral home, with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
