Dear grandma,
As I sit down to write this, I find myself with a mix of emotions. Your passing has brought to the surface many thoughts and feelings that I had tucked away over the years. While I barely knew you, I´m sure the impact of your absence is felt in our family.
I reached out to you in the past, hoping to bridge the gap between us, but our relationship remained distant. I often wondered about the reasons behind that distance and what it would have been like to connect. It's difficult to understand how someone can be so close yet so far away.
I recognize that you had your own struggles and complexities, and perhaps your experiences shaped the way you interacted with those around you. While we may not have shared moments or memories, I still feel a sense of loss, as if there were possibilities that never came to fruition.
In reflecting on your life, I hope to find some sense of understanding. It´s important to acknowledge that every person has their own journey, filled with challenges and choices. I can only hope that you have found peace and resolution in your own way.
As I move forward, I will carry the lessons of our distant relationship with me. I wish you comfort in your next journey.
