Shelby Rochester

Shelby Kemp Rochester, 66, of Lyman, South Carolina, went to be with her Lord on July 9, 2024.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Verdenia Taylor Cupka and James Henry Kemp, she was a retired employee of General Electric and a member of Lyman First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Candy Brewington (Jeff) of Duncan; four granddaughters; a sister, Sandra Simpson (Bobby) of Campobello; a brother, Randy Kemp (Kim) of Duncan; a nephew, Robby Simpson (Eliza) of Atlanta, Georgia; two nieces, Jodi Wright (Todd) of Campobello and Jamie Clymer (Jonathan) of Fort Campbell, Kentucky; three great-nephews; three great-nieces; and her loyal pup, Otis.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Sandy Michelle Rochester and her niece, Madison Marie Kemp.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Reverend Bill Morris. Shelby loved Mickey Mouse so those attending her service are welcome to wear anything Disney to honor her.
Visitation will be held after the service at the cemetery.
The family is at their respective homes.
