Shelby Melissa Smith

Shelby Melissa Smith, 25, passed away Friday August 22, 2025 with family by her side. Shelby was born on June 30, 2000 to her parents Roy Smith and Linda Wolfe of Louisville, Kentucky. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, sister in law, daughter in law, niece. Preceded in death by her mother Linda Wolfe. Survived by her father Roy Smith, loving husband Chris Heck, children Abel Smith, Owen Heck and Kori Heck; three sisters Heather Smith, Jennifer Knight and Tabitha Smith; sister in laws Trena Hutchins (Jeremiah), Kiley Fenley (Hunter), mother in law Shannon Heck; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins. Funeral service will be Thursday August 28, 2025 at 2:00pm Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00-2:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home for Shelby's services.
