Sheldon Hall

Sheldon E. "Shook" Hall, Sr., 88, of Cadiz, OH, formerly of Garrettsville, OH, went home to his Lord and Savior Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was born May 2, 1937, in Uniontown, PA, to the late Earl and Thelma (nee Riggar) Hall.
He was, first and foremost, a caregiver. Always one to give, Shook gave his time, love, and energy in caring for his beloved wife, Norma, until her passing. He then went on to care for his daughter and would care for anyone in his family that needed his assistance. Shook was known as "The Mayor" in the Harrison County Home, where he made people feel cared for, even when he was in their care. A strong man of faith, it is comfort to know that Shook is reunited with his wife, Norma, as well as other dear loved ones, and especially, the Lord.
Shook will forever be missed by his children, Sheldon (Mary Ann) Hall, Jr., Kimberly (Timothy) Dobbins, Kevin (Sue Ellen) Hall, and Tracey Hall; grandchildren, T.J. (Jen) Dobbins, Amanda (Dan) Gazzo, Brian (Laura) Dobbins, Patrick Hall, Zachary (Kelsey) Hall, and Sarah Hall; 7 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hall, and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; dear wife, Norma Hall; brothers, Wayne Hall and Leonard (Dolores) Hall.
Please join the family for a visitation Tuesday, December 16, 2025, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Another visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Michael Cunningham officiating. Shook will then be taken to Park Cemetery in Garrettsville, OH, where he will be lovingly laid to rest beside Norma.
