SHELIA NANCE

 Beech Bluff: Shelia Ann Nance, age 58, passed away at her Home in the Beech Bluff Community early Monday morning, May 27, 2024.  

She was born in Henderson, January 25, 1966, the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Vann, Sr. and Ollie Faye Doyle Vann.  She grew up in Bemis and was a 1985 graduate of Southside High School.  She married Frankie Nance, July 2, 1993, and they made their home in Beech Bluff.   She worked for Mighty Products in Jackson for twenty-four years.  She was a member of Beech Bluff Pentecostal Church and was very involved in women’s ministries. 

She was very close to her family and enjoyed gatherings.   She enjoyed all children, especially her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband Franklin Delano “Frankie” Nance, a son Blake Nance of Beech Bluff, two daughters Pamela Winslow and husband Roy of Beech Bluff and Stephanie Coley and husband John of Jackson, two brothers Thomas Vann, Jr. and wife Laurie of Milan and Donald Ray Vann of Ramer, two sisters Tammy Macon (husband Mark deceased) and Penny Howard and husband Curtis all of Beech Bluff, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Jeff Vann.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Beech Bluff Pentecostal Church with Bishop Curtis Howard and Pastor Taylor Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Beech Bluff Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, service time.
