Shelley Ruth Fitzpatrick, 65, of Warsaw, Indiana, formerly of Wabash, Indiana died at 4:01 am, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at her home. She was born on May 28, 1960, in Wabash, to William II and Joan (King) Wallace.
Shelley spent several years working at DePuy in Warsaw, a place she came to know well after making Warsaw her home for many years. She had a gentle heart and a deep love for animals, and she found joy in the simple things-playing games on her phone, dancing to good music, and filling her days with laughter. More than anything, Shelley cherished the moments she shared with her family. They were the center of her world, and being with them brought her the greatest happiness.
She is survived by three children: Eric (Lisa) Zartman of Warsaw, Christy Evans of Mentone, Indiana, and Tony Fitzpatrick of Claypool, Indiana, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and her brother, William Wallace of Brandon, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Gregory Wallace.
Funeral services will be private at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash. Burial will be in Speicher Cemetery, Urbana.
Preferred memorial is Animal Shelter of Wabash County.
