Shellie Renee Uncapher, 71, passed away June 2, 2024. She was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania. Shellie will always be remembered for her warm vanilla sugar hugs and her love for the Irish culture. She was a devoted single mother and proud grandmother. Shellie raised her children with love, strength and perseverance. Shellie was a very kind and giving person. She served as an educator and helped many people get back on their feet with Project Learn of Summit County. Shellie is preceded in death by her mother and step-father Catherine and Arthur Cavallo; father John Uncapher; sister Jessie Uncapher; brother Timothy J. Uncapher; and her grandson Rodney Iiams Jr. She is survived by her daughters Heather (Chris) Andre, Eve (Dale) Nicholl; son Richard T. (Amanda S. Mancini) Colon; grandchildren Timothy M. Colon, Marissa (James) Thurston, Gabrielle Colon, Shyla and Aubrey Iiams; brothers Gregory (Amy) Uncapher, John Uncapher, and Stephen Uncapher, step-grandsons Teaghan and Kyllan Nicholl; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; dear friend Ruth Woodhall; as well as many other family and friends. Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street). She will be laid to rest at Hartzel Cemetery in North Benton, Ohio.
