Shelly Dies Obituary
Shelly Ann Dies, 50, of Portland passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2024.
Born September 3, 1973 in Alpena, Michigan to James and Mary English, Shelly spent most of her life in the Portland area. Helping others was a consistent theme in Shelly's life, both personally and professionally. She spent several years involved in the school system as a ParaPro for children with special needs in addition to working in the Latch Key program.
She is survived by her husband Jarett Dies, children, Memphis and Phoenix Dies, mother, Mary Green and brother, Cody Green.
She is preceded in death by father, James English, father and mother-in-law, Tom and Twana Dies and step-father, Dennis Green.
Shelly was known for having such a warm heart, an incredible sense of humor and unwavering ability to bring the best out in anyone she was around. Her spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A Celebration of Shelly's life will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at the Portland VFW, 1324 E. Bridge Street, Portland, MI 48875. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
