Sherian Ann Roberts

Sherian Ann Roberts, 83, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at Wabash General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 13, 1940, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of William Roberts and Betty (Burkhead) Reef.
Sherian worked in healthcare for many years as a CNA and LPN. She loved to cook and was known to make the best fried chicken around. Sherian enjoyed going out to lunch with friends, family and her church family. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church where she loved worshiping. Sherian was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Being with her family was most important to her and brought her the greatest joy. Sherian will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Sherian leaves behind her son, Mike (Brenda) Fross; daughters, Sherry (Keith) Thompson, Mary (Bill) Sutton, Cheryl Swatsley, Theresa (Mike Sharp) Traylor, Chris (Allen) Carwile, Rhonda (Terry) McGee, Shelly (Ronnie Keebler) Crowe; twenty-one grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bud Elderidge.
Sherian was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ronald Roberts.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m.-1:00p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the First Apostolic Church.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the First Apostolic Church with Pastor Paul McGee officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sherian's memory to Rhonda McGee, to help the family offset her final expenses. Envelopes will be at the church or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
