Sheridan A Reid was born November 27, 1943, to Virginia M Reid (Sturm) and Leonard H Reid, at home along the Fox River in Cary, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandchild, Johnathan J Miller.

Sheridan's career spanned over 30 years in the real estate title insurance field. She loved her work and was recognized as one of the best in the business. She retired from First American Title Co. as a Commercial Title Officer in 2005 which allowed her to pursue a passion for lifelong learning about an eclectic array of subjects. As a woman of extraordinary intelligence, Sheridan could talk about almost anything which always amazed her family and friends.

Sheridan passed away on June 18, 2025, after enduring multiple health issues over the past few years. Her passion for living was evident every day by her indomitable strength and an unquestionable resolve to overcome. Sheridan conducted her life as she saw fit with a warrior’s spirit and a compassionate heart.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen, Christine, and Stephen, grandchildren, Nicholas and Dustin, her siblings Melissa and William, and 5 great grandchildren. She is irreplaceable and profoundly missed every day.
