Sheridan S. Warner, 72, of Abbottstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his home. He was the devoted husband of Nancy M. (Miller) Warner, with whom he shared 34 years of loving marriage.

Born August 29, 1953, in York, he was the son of the late Glenn C. and Nancy D. (Pope) Warner.

Sheridan was a kind and generous man who deeply loved his family. A devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, he found his greatest joy in the company of his loved ones. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sharing laughter, stories, and countless memories.

A true craftsman at heart, Sheridan enjoyed tinkering and building things-his curiosity and creativity always leading to new projects. He was also an avid train enthusiast, fascinated by their history and the simple pleasure of watching them roll down the tracks. Sheridan will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his infectious sense of humor, and his love of life that brought warmth to everyone who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Sheridan is survived by his children, Alice Kirby and her husband Chris, Chrissy Bream and her husband Scott, and Daniel Warner; his stepchildren, Tina Luther and her husband Sam, and Robert Simmons and his wife Amanda; two brothers, Jay Warner and his wife Julia, and Drew Warner and his wife Helen; a sister, Ada Anderson; a brother-in-law, Dennis Miller; and a sister-in-law, Connie Quintiliani and her husband Rick. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with many loving extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A service to celebrate Sheridan's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover, with Pastor. Brad Sizemore officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover.

Serving as pallbearers will be Drew Warner, Dennis Miller, Jay Warner, Sam Luther, Robert Simmons, and Rick Quintiliani.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sheridan's memory to the charity of your choice.
