Sherman Glen Wright, age 49, of Marianna, FL passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at his residence.
Sherman was born on September 16, 1975 in Peru, IN to his parents, Lucille and Ferman Wright. On July 24, 1999, Sherman married the love of his life, Carrie in Clarksville, TN. Sherman and Carrie lived in Tennessee where they owned and operated Skyline Tree Service for over 20 years. Sherman and his wife, Carrie moved to Jackson County in 2017 and established their roots. He loved playing the guitar, hiking, and being in the outdoors. Sherman was a kind hearted man who was always willing to help anyone he could.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ferman Wright; sister, Teresa Moore; and his dog, Taco.
Sherman is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Lynn Wright of Marianna, FL; sons, Seth Allen Wright of Nashville, TN, Mathew Trevor Wright and fiancé, Raina Lesch of Nashville, TN; mother, Lucille Phillips; brothers, Aaron Hawkins of Marianna, FL, Steven Hawkins, II., and wife, Erin of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Julie Jent and husband, Ricky of Peru, IN and Brenda Phillips also of Peru, IN. Survivors also include his sister in-law, Brandy Gaines; niece, Lillie Hawkins and nephew, Cory Hawkins all of Marianna.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Friday, October 25, 2024 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating.
