Jimmy Wright Obituary

Published by Legacy from Jul. 28 to Jul. 29, 2025.
After a long and hard-fought battle with Parkinson's, our Daddy, our hero-has gone home to be with the Lord. He was a son, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather and a friend. But the greatest title is Christian! His faith in Jesus Christ sustained him through many trials in his lifetime. Now he is whole and healed and in the presence of God. There is so much to say about Daddy! He never hesitated to tell us or show us how much he loved us each and every day! He teased us with a mischievous smile and laughter in his eyes! He taught us to love and trust in Jesus and shared his faith and guidance not only with us but with everyone he came in contact with. Daddy rarely met a stranger and could find something or someone in common with just about anyone! He enjoyed growing roses, working on clocks, photographing nature, playing his guitars and whistles, and helping others, but most of all, he loved us and spending time together as a family! He was by far the best husband, Daddy and Pepaw around and our world will never be the same. Thank you to all of our friends and neighbors who helped in so many ways over the last couple of years, and to the medical staff who helped care for daddy! You all are the reason we were able to keep daddy at home with mama where he wanted to be. Per his wishes, we will not be having a service. He asked that in lieu of flowers or food, please donate to New Beginnings Family Fellowship, PO Box 547, Blooming Grove, TX 76626 for M'Lissa Price in memory of Jim Wright. Please continue to pray for our family in the coming days and weeks. Our hearts are broken but we are at peace knowing that he is in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
