Sherral Suarez Obituary

She was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Sherral graduated from Sault High in 1967. She married Richard in 1971 and moved with him to New Jersey following his discharge from the Air Force.
Sherral enjoyed gardening, her pets, and crafts. She was an avid and accomplished quilter, entirely self taught. She took great joy in creating 20 quilts for friends and family. Additionally, Sherral kept a large collection of her own quilts which she proudly displayed in her home. She also knitted blankets which she donated to wounded veterans in military hospitals.
Sherral especially enjoyed Christmas time. She would spend days meticulously decorating the tree to her satisfaction.
Sherral worked as an administrative assistant at Herman Yula CPA in Parsippany for several years before electing for an early retirement.
She is pre-deceased by her mother Josephine Jewell (nee-Polgese), her father George E. Jewell, and her bother Scott Jewell.
Survivors include her loving husband Richard, her son Graig, her sister Diane Marx and her husband Harold, her brother, Brad Jewell and his wife Kim, and her sister-in-law Kay Jewell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. on Saturday September 27, 2025 at the Par -Troy Funeral Home: 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany NJ (973) 887-3235. A religious service will be held there at 12:30 PM. A funeral brunch will follow at 2:00 PM at the Hanover Manor: 16 Eagle Rock Avenue, East Hanover NJ.
