Sherren “Sherry” Ann Burchett Painter, 73, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born on September 8, 1951, to the late Marvin Albert and Annie Bell Brannon Burchett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Marvin Paul Painter and William D. Painter; and daughter, Lynn Ramsey.

Sherry was a graduate of Red Bud High School. She was a member of Victory Temple Church of God and was a loyal prayer warrior, always greeted with a smile, and loved everyone. Sherry was a living example of faith, courage, and contentment.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband, Leonard Painter Jr.; sister, Sheila Daniel and her husband, Johnny; and grandchildren, Dakota Painter, Paul Painter, Christian Painter, William Painter, Ryan Ramza, and James Ramza.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Victory Temple Church of God.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM from Victory Temple Church of God with Rev. Eddie Brannon and Bro. Jeff Dutton officiating.

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Sherren “Sherry” Ann Burchett Painter.
