Sherri L. DiRico, 60, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at home surrounded by family. Born April 20, 1964, in Columbia City, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Ed Franks and Delores (Johnson) Franks who survives.
She graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1982. On June 20, 1998, she married Fred DiRico at the Warsaw Wesleyan Church. Sherri worked for 27 years at Lake City Bank, working her way up to assistant vice president. Sherri and Fred have been members of Warsaw Community Church for 19 years.
Sherri was in the mission field when she was younger, visiting Guatemala, Azerbaijan and many areas in the United States. She was known for her cooking and baking, especially her rolls. Sherri loved to work in her flower garden when she could.
In addition to her loving husband Fred, Sherri is survived by her mother Delores, her children Carissa Lashae DiRico, Tony (Brittany) DiRico, and Gabriel DiRico, her grandchildren Lincoln, Kaden, Kylin, and Lilionna, her brothers Rick (Robbie) Franks, Terry (Laura) Franks, and Troy (Cara) Franks, her mother-in-law Giovanna DiRico, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3:00 - 7:00 pm Monday, September 30, 2024, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Warsaw Community Church, 1855 S. County Farm Rd., Warsaw, Indiana, with calling one hour prior. Burial will take place at Troy Presbyterian Cemetery.
