Sherri Ann Roark, age 60, passed away on March 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on September 30, 1964, to Don and Judy Roark, and was one of four children; brother Johnny and sisters Donna and Tonya.
Sherri was a devoted mother to her son, DaKota Wayne Roark, in 2006, she married Jeff Power.
She was a proud 1983 graduate of Winnetonka High School and dedicated over 25 years to her work at Sam’s Club, where she built lasting friendships and left a mark of kindness on everyone she met.
Sherri had a deep love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews, with whom she shared many treasured moments. She enjoyed trips to the movies, dinners at Stroud’s and time spent laughing with loved ones. Her smile could light up a room and her presence brought joy to so many.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son DaKota Wayne Roark; parents Don and Judy Roark; sister Tonya Woody; and brother-in-law Earl Templeton.
She leaves behind by her husband Jeff Power; stepdaughter MaKayla Power; brother John Stevenson; sister Donna Templeton; brother-in-law Keith Woody; many nieces and nephews whom she adored; and her beloved pets Bentley, Miss Cleo, Rolly and Annabelle.
Sherri spent her final days surrounded by loved ones and family in the care of her sister Donna. She passed away on what would have been her mother’s 85th birthday, a tender reunion of hearts in Heaven.
Her memory will live on in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel (1640 North MO 291 Hwy., Liberty, MO 64068) Visitation will be from 1-2pm at the Chapel prior to the service. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone, MO
