Alicia Lynn (Lee) Gordon went home to be with her dad on November 11, 2025. She was surrounded by her family at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital. Alicia was a beautiful soul that God gave us for a short while here on Earth, but we will see her again when we all complete the circle in Heaven. Until then, we will treasure her in our hearts.
Alicia was born on February 27, 1981, in Fayetteville, NC, the only child of Larry and Linda Lee. Being an “Army brat”, Alicia traveled the United States from coast to coast, as well as Germany, Holland, Austria, England and Mexico. Alicia’s passion for life was caring for her daughter Kamryn, and her family. She loved to share with Kam her love of reading, baking, movie marathons, nature walks, and giving to others, including her Tinal precious gift of life as an organ donor.
Alicia was extremely proud of her career in the dental field, with 26 years of dedication. She graduated on a Sunday and went to work on Monday for Dr. Matt Garrison. He trained her first in the dental field and she fulfilled about 10 years at his practice. She then moved upward to the orthodontics world, working for Dr. Neil Kanning and Dr. Ashlee Weber. Her expertise as a Chairside Assistant and Clinical Supervisor led her to the final position of Practice Manager with Dr. Weber. Alicia continued helping chairside as needed but focused more on the administrative side with parents’ insurance filing and payment plans. Her dental career spanned 26 years serving patients and parents with her special talents, and perfecting smiles on hundreds of kids’ faces.
Alicia continued her training and education to earn certiTication as a Certified Dental Assistant, Expanded Function Dental Assistant, Certified Orthodontic Assistant, and Expanded Function Orthodontic Assistant. This brought her the satisfaction of her name tag showing Alicia Gordon, CDA, EFDA, COA, EFOA, making not only herself extremely proud, but her family as well.
Alicia was preceded in death by her dad, Larry Lee. She will be missed greatly by her adoring family and many friends. They include her beloved daughter, Kamryn; mother, Linda Lee; Kam’s father, Jason Gordon; and her love and companion for the last 12 years, Kevin Jones.
Alicia was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Liberty, MO, where visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am, on Friday, November 21, 2025. All are welcome to come celebrate Alicia’s amazing life.
