Bob Summers Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Bob worked many years as a builder, but when he was not working he enjoyed working cryptograms, playing cards with his family, watching football, restoring old cars, and collecting anything old. He especially loved reading about the history of Ray County. He took great care of his yard; always planting flowers and trees, and maintaining their little pet cemetery. He had a great love for all animals, especially his very spoiled cats.
He was very family oriented and loved seeing his grandchildren. Bob was known for his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need and never said no to anyone, ever.
He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia (Studdard) Summers, father William "Jack" Summers, brother Jackie Summers, sisters Betty Jo Minton and Bonnie Sloan, sons Bobby Summers and Jack Summers, and grandson Samuel Summers.
Survivors include his wife Judy (Webb) Summers, daughter Jeanne Reed, son Bill (Sue) Summers, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
