Sherrie Louise Craven, 62, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and formerly of Portland, Oregon, peacefully went to be with the Lord on November 23rd, 2025, at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Born on February 6, 1963, in John Day, Oregon, Sherrie was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel Guy Craven and Betty Lou McGirr Craven. She grew into a woman known for her boldness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Sherrie leaves behind her cherished daughter, Savannah Austeen Craven, and son-in-law Henry Savio Antao, both of New York, NY; and her loving sister, Shannon Austeen Craven of Portland, OR. She will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A true lover of adventure, Sherrie found joy in traveling the world-especially on cruises-and her heart was never happier than when she was exploring the beauty and culture of Italy, her favorite place on earth. She delighted in shopping, sharing laughs over a glass of red wine, and celebrating life's simple pleasures. Above all, Sherrie's greatest joy was her daughter Savannah, whom she adored and lovingly spoiled at every chance she had.

A Catholic funeral Mass will be held for Sherrie on December 3rd, 2025, at 1:00 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Avenue, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. A repass will follow at Raves Restaurant from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Sherrie's honor at GiveSendGo.com/Sherrie. Flowers can be delivered to St. Michael Catholic Church.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Dawn Twomey, Joanne Bennett, Angie Knight, and Lynn Diehl for their extraordinary compassion, care, and support. Their love and dedication made Sherrie's final moments peaceful and her funeral Mass possible.

Sherrie's spirit, laughter, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those she touched.
