Sherrie Dawn Quashnick, 64, Bismarck, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2025 at her home.
Sherrie was born on July 14, 1961 in Harvey, ND, the daughter of Walter and Darlene (Jans) Quashnick. Raised and educated in Bismarck. After graduating high school, she held a variety of jobs that reflected her versatility and dedication. She contributed to the family business, Walt’s Plumbing and Heating, both as an apprentice and later in administrative roles. She was a proud member of the Local 300 Union, and also worked as a truck driver and at Big Boy, always bringing warmth and resilience to every role.
Sherrie had a deep love for animals, especially her loyal dog Bandit and a stray cat she had recently welcomed into her home. Her gentle heart extended to all creatures, and she found joy in the simple pleasures — like getting her nails done and spending quiet moments with her furry companions.
She is survived by her brother, Walter Quashnick Jr. and his girlfriend, Christine Cowan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Sr. and Darlene Pearl Quashnick.
