Sherrill Faye “Nana” Collier Hill, of Jefferson City, went home to be with Jesus, June 9, 2025 at The Heritage Center of Morristown. She was a faithful, lifelong attendee of the Mt. Vale Church of God in Jefferson City, being in the fourth of seven generations to attend, and serving as Sunday School Secretary for many years. In addition, she attended New Vision Ministries of White Pine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milburn Hill, son, Stacy Hill, son-in-law, Johnny Sellars, parents, James Andrew and Lelah Collier; brothers, Donald Glenn Collier, James Estel Collier, and Lowell Dean Collier. She is survived by feline companion, Munch, son, Steven (Terri) Hill, and perfect grand-dog MattiAnne, daughter, Lisa Sellars, grandchildren, Jonathan (Nevish) Snodderly, Heather (Jeremiah) Letterman, Tori Hill, and Randi Hill, great-grandchildren, Bryson Letterman, Brody Letterman, Bella Letterman, Baker Letterman, Anna Snodderly, Adalia Martindale, sisters-in-law, Doris Collier and Virginia Collier, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, and special friends and cousins, Doris (Sissie) Massengill and Gwen Renner. One of her last requests being that we let them all know she loves them and wants to see them again in Heaven.
The family extends special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital System, The Heritage Center, and Amedisys Home Health and Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. for graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Bella’s Back Yard, New Vision Ministries, 3010 Vine Street, White Pine, TN, 37890.
