Sherrill Lynn Sisk

Sherrill Lynn Sisk, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 72. She was born on November 5, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Ronald O'Bannon and Alice Nolen O'Bannon. Sherrill is the beloved wife of 54 years to Louis T. Sisk; loving mother of Jessica Oliver and Kevin Nolen Sisk (Darlene); proud grandmother of Justin, Emily, and Alicia; and cherished sister of Beverly Shay (Jimmy). She also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly.
A graduate of Kennedy High School with the Class of 1968, Sherrill went on to build a successful career as a secretary in the insurance industry. Her dedication, resourcefulness, and professionalism made her an invaluable asset to her colleagues and the company.
Sherrill's interests were varied and often showcased her love for life. She was an avid reader, finding solace and inspiration in the pages of her favorite books. In the kitchen, she was known for her culinary prowess, whipping up delicious meals that brought her family together around the dinner table.
Sherrill also enjoyed traveling, especially taking trips to the Smoky Mountains with her husband, Louis. These cherished memories of time spent together will forever be held dear by those who knew and loved her. Sherrill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
